Blackberry-Pear-Ginger Pie. Because all those things are awesome.
And blackberries make the prettiest colored pies ever.
This was the first pie in awhile that I got the crust just right on. Its flaky and delicious, and has just a little bit of raw sugar sprinkled on top. And oh man are those pears and blackberries perfectly juicy.
Pie 18, and the first pie of October. I might try to make it to 24 pies by the end of the year.
