They also give you the option to donate the 5$ you would have paid for the swatch to heifer international, a nonprofit org that helps people around the world. 

So sometime between noon tomorrow (Aug 18th, 12:00pm EST) and noon on friday you should go pick out your free swatch! Use this as an excuse to try designing your own fabric, or just to grab a piece of a fabric design you think is pretty!
