Not a pie, perhaps, but still delicious. I was just more in a cake mood, which is rare, but happens.
These are chocolate guinness cupcakes with whiskey cream cheese icing. Beer + cake is one of the best combinations I’ve ever tasted. The beer somehow makes the batter so moist and fluffy, and takes away a bit of the overpowering sweetness. I’m not big on frostings, so I actually used 1/4 of the sugar I was supposed to with this one. And it was delicious that way.
